Central Chinmaya Mission Trust (CCMT) is the apex administrative body of Chinmaya Mission, a public, educational and charitable organisation – with a global presence. It provides managerial, administrative and financial guidelines for its activities in over 30 countries across 5 continents offering value based education for all ages based on Vedantic philosophy. Chinmaya Mission has over 300 centres that have touched and transformed thousands with its work, ranging from seminars, workshops, publications including magazines, research centres, educational institutions, social upliftment projects such as empowering women and rebuilding rural villages, conducting research in Indology and manuscripts, running hospitals and old age homes through its vision to provide to individuals from any background the wisdom of Vedanta and the practical means for spiritual growth and happiness enabling them to become positive contributors to society.
Chinmaya Udghosh (CU) is the international youth magazine that is managed by the Chinmaya Yuva Kendra, global youth wing of Chinmaya Mission. It is a monthly magazine in Sanskrit and English. CU contains articles, stories, cartoons, puzzles and titbits on topics relevant to youth including sports, travel, philosophy, adventure, career, relationships, management, movies and more. CU inspires the reader to delve deeper, understand and learn from everything in the world around them. It conveys profound teachings in a youth friendly manner, standing up to its tagline, ‘inspiring youth to look ahead’.
