Jamuna Tudu is an Indian environmental activist, who has prevented the felling of trees in her village and surrounding areas in Jharkhand. She is also the founder of Van Suraksha Samiti, which now openly tackles the timber mafia and Naxalites. Tudu has mobilised and united over 10,000 women in the state and motivated them to protect trees and wildlife. She was awarded Padma Shri in 2019.
