Rampyari Gurjar was an Indian female warrior who defeated Timur in 1398, when he invaded ancient Delhi. Rampyari was a senapati under King Jogaraj Singh Gurjar. She had trained 40000 women, and these women fought alongside male soldiers. Timur fled from the battlefield being badly injured with his army. It is said that Timur never recovered fully from this war and died later in 1405.
