To commemorate 50 years of Chinmaya Yuva Kendra, Chinmaya Mission Kadapa, organised Uttishtha Bharata 3.0, a state-level youth convention for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It was held in Kadapa from 24 to 26 January under the able leadership of Swami Turiyananda. The transformative event aimed to inspire and empower youth to embrace their role in nation-building while simultaneously fostering spiritual growth and personal development. With its diverse activities and impactful speakers, the convention provided a unique platform for youth engagement..Four eminent speakers from Chinmaya Mission—Pujya Swami Swaroopananda (Global Head of Chinmaya Mission) Swami Mitrananda (Chinmaya Mission, Chennai), Swami Chidrupananda (Chinmaya Mission, Noida), Swami Anukoolananda (Resident Director, CIRS)— along with others swamis and brahmacharis of Chinmaya Mission, spoke on patriotism, service, mindfulness, the importance of cultivating inner strength to contribute to society, and the need for young people to take responsibility for the future of the nation. These sessions were intellectually stimulating, deeply engaging the participants and sparking a sense of motivation and purpose among the attendees.The highlight of the convention was the 300-metre national flag rally on Republic Day. 700 participants shouldered the flag symbolically displaying unity and national pride. The students marched two kilometres, proudly carrying the national flag. The view from the top gave goosebumps to all those who watched!.The convention also featured a variety of cultural performances. The Yuvaveers and Chyks of Kadapa presented a vibrant dance and cultural show. These performances showcased the richness of Indian tradition, highlighting both classical and folk dance forms. The convention also featured several group activities organised by the brahmacharis, Yuvaveers, and Chyks of Kadapa. These activities were designed to promote teamwork, leadership, and service among the youth.Uttishtha Bharata 3.0 successfully combined spiritual teachings, national pride, and cultural celebration, providing the youth with an enriching experience that will continue to inspire them for years to come. With the participation of about a thousand attendees, the convention emphasised the importance of youth involvement in nation-building and encouraged a deep sense of responsibility towards society and the nation. The convention served as a powerful reminder of the potential within every young individual to create a positive change.
