I bow down to Pavana-suta Hanuman, who crossed the vast ocean like a child passing over the puddle made by the hoof of a cow—goshpadi krutam vaarisham. Look at the massive ocean, vast and deep, encompassing the land masses. It runs around the periphery of the whole Earth. You cannot see its limits as it goes beyond the horizon. Notwithstanding, Sri Hanuma effortlessly jumped across it, as though it were a mere puddle made by the hoof of a cow. Even though the cow is big, the impression of its hoof marks, on wet, rain-soaked earth, makes tiny puddles of water. Hanuman made the ocean look as insignificant as those small puddles with his impressive feat.
