If you remain aware of your good fortune, and hold on to the belief that everything that happens is for the best, you will never feel deprived or depressed, for you will simply never have any reason to feel that way. Make it a daily habit to write down five things for which you feel grateful during the day. Humans have walked the earth for thousands of years, and yet almost all of the blessings we take for granted today did not exist until as recently as 50 or 100 years ago. How truly fortunate we are!
