Wise Nuggets

काकः कृष्णः पिकः कृष्णः को भेदः पिक-काकयोः ।

वसन्तकाले संप्राप्ते काकः काकः पिकः पिकः ॥

The crow is black, and so is the cuckoo. ‘How are they different from each other?’, we wonder. When the Spring season comes (and the cuckoo sings sweetly), we will indeed know the crow for a crow and a cuckoo for a cuckoo. Though externally the same, qualities within make us superior or inferior.
