Chinmaya Yuva Kendra

Ajmare Singh was a lieutenant in the 2/12 frontier forces regiment in the British Indian Army. He belonged to village Dharwari in Ludhiana, Punjab. In 1942 he was captured by the Japanese forces and was among the first soldiers who formed the Azad Hind Fauj. He was made a Major in the I Bahadur Group of Azad Hind Fauj. At the Burma Front he was captured by the British and imprisoned in Red Fort Delhi. He died in the Red Fort Sells in 1945.
